Auxiliary graphite products

Production provision with affordable and high-quality consumables is one of the most important tasks of the company's procurement units. Some industries place high demands on the purity of tooling materials and their physical and mechanical properties.

For example, resistance to aggressive media and low consumption of equipment lining are important for chemical production facilities. In steel-making processes as well as in secondary steelmaking, it is important to deal with materials free of ash impurities and non-metallic inclusions.

This is why DKG focuses on the production of standardized products with stocks to quickly respond to customer requests. In addition, based on prior arrangement our production facility is capable of manufacturing products on case-by-case basis. We do our best to meet demands of our customers and are ready to take on the production of new promising products according to drawings.

ATCM products

Anticorrosive thermally conductive material (ATCM) – graphite-based products with organic plasticizers.

ATCM-1 tiles are used to protect steel equipment from aggressive media at temperatures from -18 ° C to +115 ° C.

Corrosion-resistant unified press material of ATCM-U grade is designed for the manufacture of chemically resistant products. It constitutes a grainy powder of gray-black color.

Special graphites

There are industries imposing very strict requirements for the quality of graphite products. So the operation of parts at temperatures above 2000 oC while maintaining the strength, resistance to erosion and chemical inertness can be ensured only by a limited range of materials. Mainly, the materials are based on carbon. Another advantage of carbon materials is their more affordable price compared to various ceramics and metal alloys. In addition, carbon materials are environmentally friendly and are relatively easy to dispose of.

Heat exchange equipment

High-tech heat-exchange equipment is being created at our production facility at Novocherkassk. Surfaces of the heat exchanger that are in contact with aggressive media are made of graphite materials of our own production impregnated with unique high-strength graphite plastic compositions produced according to state-of-the-art technologies. Operating elements of heat-exchange equipment have high thermal conductivity and stable physical and mechanical properties allowing operation at temperatures up to 165 oC.

The materials are resistant to acids, have high thermal conductivity and physical-mechanical properties.

There are several types of units depending on the application and purpose. Varied configuration, dimensions and other product parameters is a top priority for our designers and engineers. Spare parts kit is provided as part of the additional accompanying services for customers.

According to the customer's initial requirements, heat exchangers can be designed for different types of corrosive media, pre-set heat and mass transfer surface as well as the type of design.

Fabricated shapes

These are semis and mechanically processed graphite goods. All graphites are different in grain size and porosity. This determines their physical and mechanical properties and further application.

They are intended for the manufacture of parts of equipment, linings and other equipment operated in corrosive environments mainly at high temperatures.

Raw materials are subject to grinding, mixing, sequence of bakings and impregnations, graphitization and subsequent machining.

Products are used: in the manufacture of tooling, fasteners for technological equipment; as crucibles for the production of multi-component glass and melting of metals in high-frequency vacuum furnaces; as heaters of vacuum electric furnaces and electric resistance furnaces; in the production of quartz glass; as blocks and tiles for lining, sealing rings, disks, molds, boats for sintering hard alloys and other products.
